Job description
Bioinformatics Data Scientist - Up to £80,000 + stock options - Hybrid - London
Join a data-driven biotech start-up backed by billion revenue biotech industry staple that is looking to improve skin health through far more personalised and thus effective diagnostics and treatments.
You will be engaging in cutting edge genetics and epigenetics studies and discovery of new skin treatments to aid health and anti-aging. Being a scale-up, the work you do will make a real impact on the product, especially as the business grows. You will have the opportunity to work in multi-disciplinary teams and develop the strategy that would dictate diagnostics and prediction tool development.
Must have:
2+ years' experience in delivering bioinformatics and ML based solutions to industry
Experienced with cloud infrastructure and all capabilities
Experienced with Next Generation Sequencing data analysis tools
At least bachelors in bioinformatics, biochemistry, computer science or qualitative fields
Experience with version control, CI/CD, and automated deployment
Nice to have:
Experience analysing epigenetics data such as DNA methylation and variant analysis
Worked in an agile environment
