They specialize in various sectors, including electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), where they support manufacturers in meeting regulatory requirements for their products.
Job Description:They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EMC Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and evaluation on a wide range of electronic and electrical products to ensure compliance with European and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
EMC Testing:
Conduct EMC tests according to relevant standards (e.g., EN, CISPR, IEC) on various products, including consumer electronics, industrial equipment, medical devices, and automotive components.
Operate and maintain EMC test equipment, including anechoic chambers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
Prepare and configure test setups, including the calibration and verification of equipment.
Test Documentation:
Document test procedures, results, and observations accurately and comprehensively.
Prepare detailed test reports and certificates of compliance for clients, ensuring clarity and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate records of test data and ensure traceability.
Compliance Evaluation:
Review product designs and technical documentation to assess compliance with EMC standards and directives (e.g., EMC Directive 2014/30/EU).
Provide technical advice to clients on EMC-related issues and assist in the resolution of non-compliance findings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Proven experience (3+ years) in EMC testing and evaluation, preferably within a Notified Body or accredited laboratory.
Strong understanding of EMC standards, including EN, CISPR, and IEC standards.
Proficiency in operating EMC test equipment and software.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong technical writing skills for clear and accurate documentation.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU and other relevant regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
