Role: Head of Technology

Type: Permanent

We are supporting one the largest Certification Bodies with their new Head of Technology opening. The successful candidate will be leading the consumer product line and spear heading business development opportunities with new clientele, running the various laboratory sites across Germany and working alongside senior management to strategize integration across the business line.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain new clientele for the business line and win large scale European projects

• Responsible contact for Laboratory project management; ensuring client deadlines are met

• P&L responsibilities and regular contact with senior management regarding budgets

• Constantly up to date with market changes to benefit the business line

• Operational management of key laboratory sites in Germany

• HR / Recruitment responsibilities to ensure growth of the product line

Essential Criteria

• 6+ years' industry experience; in relevant field (Wireless, EMC, Renewable Energy, Toys, Food)

• Hands on technical experience in relevant field (Laboratory Manager, Engineer etc.)

• Previous P&L responsibilities

• Extensive leadership / management background

• Previous certification body experience is preferred

• Fluent in German and English
