As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing daily lab operations, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with various departments to develop and implement operational strategies, optimise productivity, and drive continuous improvement. This role is pivotal to their success and requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning:

  Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

• Team Leadership:

  Lead, mentor, and manage a team of operational staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

• Process Optimisation:

  Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

• Budget Management:

  Oversee the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective utilisation of resources.

• Performance Metrics:

  Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve operational performance.

• Compliance:

  Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations and standards.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

  Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to support business initiatives and achieve company objectives.

Selection Criteria:

• 7+ years experience managing labs

• Clinical Pathology, Cellular Pathology, Histopathology expert

• NHS Lab Management experience

• Pharma background

• Experienced in Diagnostic Services
