Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic individual to develop and implement a robust marketing and sales strategy, focused on expanding our complex technology segments, including Oligonucleotides, Peptides, ADC, and High Potent Drugs. This position aims to drive significant growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and articulate product strategy to drive short-term and long-term growth.
Oversee and drive implementation strategies across the designated geographic region through Business Development (BD) teams.
Cultivate valuable relationships across a diverse customer base to secure multiple, high-value projects encompassing product development, scale-up, and clinical supply manufacturing.
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
Ensure high-quality, timely quotations to enhance win rates.
Provide technical support and preliminary screening for new inquiries.
Update and maintain marketing collateral; deliver training to the BD team as required.
Proactively identify opportunities within existing clientele and the market at large, working independently or in collaboration with Technical Sales Specialists (TSS).
Represent the company at relevant trade and scientific conferences.
Report on activities and progress to senior management and the Chemistry head.
Educational Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in a life science field; MBA preferred.
Strong understanding of strategic marketing.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Technical/Functional Skills
Essential: Deep knowledge of business drivers related to CDMO services.
Desirable: Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
Desirable: Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical development services.
Essential: Skilled in technical sales and managing opportunity pipelines.
Effective in planning and achieving both short-term and medium-term objectives.
Capable of processing large data sets quickly to identify and seize the right opportunities, clearly communicating value propositions.
Experience
At least 2 years of sales experience in a pharma services environment, with specific expertise in ADC and/or Oligonucleotides.
Familiarity with Salesforce and the importance of accurate data maintenance.
Proven success in business development and/or strategic marketing, with a strong ability to work collaboratively and influence others.
Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and a proactive approach to generating high-quality inquiries through research, remote outreach, and participation in local trade and technical events.
This role requires international travel.
